Chef/Owner Jason Christian is a NorCal native who has a longtime relationship with Spain. His family started hosting exchange students from the Barcelona area in 1998. He has made seven journeys across the Atlantic to Spain, where he has forged lifelong relationships and studied the local gastronomy in detail.
After 20 years of cooking Spanish cuisine Jason decided to launch Bay Area Paella Chef. Combining his 15 years of hospitality experience with his enthusiasm and affection for Spanish culture, Jason brings you an unforgettable and unique culinary experience.
When it comes to catering, many operations cut corners and prioritize cost and efficiency at the expense of quality.
I refuse to compromise. The ingredients and preparation techniques put an emphasis on authenticity and quality—even if it means sourcing products that are more expensive or opting for cooking techniques that are more time consuming.
